Security

Last updated July 13, 2026. A fuller security overview is coming as we approach general availability.

The short version

Stackhouse is built approval-first: it drafts, you approve. That same posture applies to your data. It is used to run your business, and for nothing else.

In transit and at rest

All traffic between you and Stackhouse is encrypted in transit with TLS. Stored data lives with vetted infrastructure providers and access to it is limited to what operating the product requires.

What Stackhouse captures

The Brain captures work you choose to let it capture: calls, research sessions, and documents on the machine where you run it. You control what is on, per channel, and your team's data is visible only inside your team.
